Damage Policy

Interior
- Any rip / tear bigger than 10 mm.
- Any cigarette burn or tear to upholstery/carpets.
- Any damage to Radio / In car entertainment display.
- Missing or damaged parcel shelf / luggage area covers.
- Any damaged to seat belt buckles/webbing.
Exterior
- Painted panels.
  - Any dent or scratch bigger than 15mm.
  - Light surface scratches of any length where no dents or abrasions occur are acceptable.
  - Any dent or scratch where paint removed through to primer/metal (fingernail test)
  - Less than 3 stone chips smaller than 5mm are acceptable.
- Wing mirrors
  - Any Broken or cracked mirror glass.
  - Any scratch to colour coded mirror caps exceeding above size guide.
Overhead
- All overhead damage is chargeable with the exceptions above.
- Loss Damage Waiver does NOT cover overhead damage or damage caused due to an insecure load.
Windscreen
- Stone chips larger than 8mm.
- Star breaks large than 20mm will require a new screen.

Wheel and tyre
- Wheels including alloys:
  - Scuffs over 50mm around the circumference.
  - Any damage to wheel spokes/fascia/hub.
- Tyres
  - Sidewall damage to tyres exceeding 15mm.
  - Sidewall damage through to cords or where cords are exposed.
  - Run flat tyre damage.
  - Punctures to the outer 15% of the tread on either side.
- Spare wheel / Pump & Cannister
  - Missing or used spare wheel.
  - Missing or used pump & Cannister.
LCV Load area zones (Yellow zones)
- Vans/drop-sides/tippers:
  - Any significant distortion to bodies due to collision or load impact
  - Any damage that prevents the correct operation and security of the drop-sides or tail-board.
- Luton Box Vans
  - Damage to shutter (including door guides) that prevents correct operation.
  - Significant damage to tail lift platform caused by misuse including driving on to platform with Fork Lift/Stacker trucks
