What happens when I bring a rental car back early?
If you find that you’ve got all the use you need from your vehicle with still a bit of time left to go on the contract, when you bring it back we’ll make sure to provide a refund on any days that you haven’t used. Similarly, if you’re using our Flexi Hire service, then you can return the vehicle at any stage after the first 28 days have elapsed. (That’s why it’s FLEXible!)
Can I drop off my car in another city?
Some rental companies will let you leave your car or van parked in approved cities or other locations, but since we’re a local business here at Intack Self Drive, we do ask that you drop it off here at our Blackburn depot.
What happens if I damage a rental car?
That really depends on exactly which bit of the car has been damaged, and to what extent. With most car rental companies, you may find that you have to pay a standard excess to repair certain types of damage. With us here at Intack Self Drive, you can lower this excess from £750 to £95 if you purchase a Loss Damage Waiver. (This is optional but recommended as it also lowers your holding deposit from £500 to £100.) It’s worth remembering, though, that the LDW doesn’t cover all types of damage - so if the roof is damaged for example, you’ll have to pay for the repairs.
